RS e-tron GT: progressive performance with pure energy
Audi, the German automotive manufacturer, recently unveiled its electric sports car, the Audi RS e-tron GT. The RS e-tron GT has a universal presence with its aerodynamic design. The progressive luxury in the interiors further boosts the driver experience.

Audi RS e-tron GT has a clear focus on driving dynamics. The center of attention is the driver’s position. The e-tron GT has dynamic proportions of a Gran Turismo with striking details of the Audi RS. The carbon roof is stable and lightweight at the same time. The overall design meets state-of-the-art quality, highlighting the attention to detail.
The Design
The RS e-tron GT has a striking design. The design itself highlights distinctive features of the car. Let’s say the center of gravity gets noticed by the long wheelbase and accentuated sills. The light strip at the rear stretches across the width of the car. V-shaped LED segments act as a double reversing light and indicators on both edges of the light strip. Such arrangement is first for an Audi.

Also, Audi laser light and optional matrix LED Headlights further enhance progressive design language. The dynamic light sequencing that sees a wave of light extend horizontally makes its own signature.
Besides, the distinct rear diffuser and sculpted shoulder line highlight the strength in its design language. The slowly sloping roofline merges itself very cleverly at the rear creating sense of urgency while the vehicle is stationary.
Interiors
Audi RS e-tron GT interior has a striking contrast color combination. The high-quality interior materials along with contrast stitching make interiors welcoming and refreshing at the same time.

Besides, the 12.3-inch color display at the center keeps everything in a clear view to the driver. The sporty seats at the front keep you planted, even during the high-speed cornering. The rear seats highlight the sporty characters of the car. The interiors also come with two options, one with full leather upholstery and the second one is a leather-free interior.
The powerhouse
The 800-volt lithium-ion battery integrates with a flat underbody. Such positioning of the battery gives agile performance while driving as well as charging. On one full charge, the car can cover the max distance of 472 km.
Also, Audi RS e-tron GT features fast charging, and its performance is also noticeable as it takes only approximately five minutes to charge the battery for the next 100km. It takes approximately 22.5 minutes to take charge level from 5% back to 80%. You can also charge the battery at home with an 11kW max AC. A 22kW fast charging option at home is also available, but it needs an optional e-tron charging system.
Performance in a new dimension
The RS e-tron GT delivers power by fully electric Quattro all-wheel drive. The electric drive on both front and rear axle deliver upto 440kW of power. In accordance with the driving conditions, the aerodynamics adjust itself. Specifically, the cooling air inlets and rear wing have two settings that change automatically.
Also, it features an option of aerodynamic wheels that improve performance. The optional high-performance braking system comes with two-disc options. The first one is tungsten carbide coated, and the second one is carbon fiber reinforced ceramic. Both of them are capable of providing the best braking capability.
In conclusion, Audi RS e-Tron GT is taking electric performance to the next level. The aerodynamics and car design are industry-leading, setting up the new benchmarks.
