Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt. Ltd.- the Indian arm of Honda has recently launched the refreshed look of its very popular scooter Activa which is now known as Activa 3G. Undoubtedly, the segment of scooters is now gaining the momentum again, making it absolutely necessary for the two-wheeler manufacturers to revise their strategies accordingly. In this article we have compared the Activa 3G with its very close rivals i.e. TVS Jupiter and Hero Maestro exclusively for our readers.
Engine comparison- Honda Activa 3G vs TVS Jupiter vs Hero Maestro:

It is very clear that the capacities of all of them are around 109cc but to be specific Jupiter has the highest i.e. 109.7cc. According to the claims of the respective manufacturers, Jupiter has the highest mileage of 62kmpl considering the fact that the fuel economy of Maestro has not been mentioned on the website of Hero. A quick look at the chart makes it clear that both Activa 3G and Hero Maestro have 5.3 Litre tanks while that of the Jupiter is only of 5 litre capacity.

Every scooter of these three is tuned to offer the best ride to passengers in most of the conditions. However, TVS Jupiter is the only scooter that has telescopic front suspension on offer. Telescopic suspension is believed to offer the best riding comfort compared to the regular linked suspension. Considering the rear suspension, all of them have relatively similar configurations as shown in the comparison chart.
Coming to the tyres, again it is observed that Jupiter has the most modern configuration i.e. alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Activa 3G also has tubeless tyres but they are fitted on the steel rims.
