Honda all set to conquer a different segment of bikes
Considering the rapidly changing taste of Indian customers especially the young generation, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. has recently introduced the 160cc version of its proven warhorse- CB Unicorn in Indian market.
“With this launch, Honda is further strengthening its portfolio in 150cc-180cc motorcycle segment, designed to woo the youth. 2014 has been an action-packed year for Honda, where we have scaled new milestones like achieving 19 million sales this week. Engine & Transmission:
The power-house of Unicorn 160 is a newly designed 163cc four stroke air cooled engine which is equipped with Honda Eco Technology (HET). This engine puts out a power of 10.82kW @ 8000 rpm and 14.61Nm is its maximum torque output @6000 rpm. With the help of a five speed transmission, this bike can achieve a top speed of 106kmph.
Fuel economy:
As specified by the manufacturer, Unicorn 160 delivers a handsome mileage of 62km/lit.
