UK’s bike maker brings the iconic Bonneville T120 to India
Triumph Bonneville T120: The Bike
UK’s premium brand of motorcycles Triumph has launched the iconic Bonneville T120 in the Indian market. The bike has been priced at Rs. 8.70 Lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Bonneville range was first unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi in February this year. The T120 is powered by a more powerful 8-valve, parallel-twin, 1200cc, liquid cooled engine producing a whopping 80PS and 150Nm of torque.
Triumph Bonneville T120: Features
The bike’s power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. The power is controlled by two rider mode settings – Rain and Road; which provide greater control & safety to the rider. The bike is equipped with various features like anti-lock braking system (ABS), switchable traction control, service indicator, USB charge socket and engine immobiliser etc. The T120 also gets the latest Ride-by-Wire technology, fuel injection and a new engine management system; which provides a linear power delivery.
The Triumph bike gets its design cues from the original Bonneville with distinctive classic lines. The styling showcases latest trends; which include a twin-pod instrument cluster with LCD display, headlamp with LED DRL, LED tail light and heated grips. The Bonneville T120 will be available in four colours – Cranberry Red, Jet Black and Pure White and Cinder Red.
