Triumph Bonneville T100: The Story
UK’s premium brand of motorcycles, Triumph, is on the bike launching spree in Indian market. It recently launched Triumph Bonneville T100 2016, which is an entry-level bike in Bonneville’s stable. The Bonneville T100 is now available at Rs. 7.78 Lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). Because T100 is an entry level bike, Triumph has put it below Bonneville T120.

Triumph Bonneville T100 2016: What’s New?
Bonneville T100 2016 uses an 8-valve, parallel-twin, 900 cc liquid cooled engine which produces 55 Ps and 80 Nm of torque. As claimed by Triumph, the T100 delivers 22% more power and 18% more peak torque at its mid-range, compared to the earlier generation.
Triumph Bonneville T100 2016 Features:
The bike transmits power to the rear wheel thru’ a 5-speed gearbox. It also comes with ‘torque assist clutch’ which provides greater control and extra comfort for rider. Furthermore, T100 is equipped with various features like anti-lock braking system, switchable traction control, service indicator, USB charge socket and engine immobiliser. In addition, the Bonneville T100 gets the latest Ride-by-Wire technology and features a Multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection system.

Triumph Bonneville T100 2016 retains some of the design and styling cues derived from the typical Bonneville DNA. In terms of styling, it showcases latest trends such as a twin-pod instrument cluster with LCD display, LED headlamp with DRLs and LED tail light. However, Bonneville T100 differs from its elder sibling T120 in some aspects. Firstly, it has a shorter wheelbase and low seat height which makes it ideal for most riders. In addition, it weighs less than T120.
The braking duties are carried out by a single 310mm disc at front and a single 255m disc at rear. The bike has KYB 41 mm forks with 120 mm travel at front; whereas it has KYB twin shocks with adjustable pre-load and 120 mm travel at rear.
Triumph Bonneville T100 2016: Colours
Overall, the bike is available in 3 different colours. Among which, 2 are dual colour themes. These colours are – Jet Black, Fusion White / Aegean Blue and New England White/ Intense Orange (as shown in the pictures above).
