Tata Tigor ‘Styleback’ launched, Prices start from INR 4.70 Lakh
India’s most reputed brand Tata Motors has stirred up the hornets’ nest by launching Tata Tigor in India. With an eye on getting a bigger pie of sub-4 meter segment, Tata Motors launched the Tigor ‘Styleback’ with a starting price of Rs. 4.70 Lakh.
Tigor takes on Maruti Suzuki DZire, Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze and VW Ameo in the compact car segment. The compact sedan gets 8 variants (XE, XT, XZ and XZ(O) – 4 each in Petrol and Diesel).
Tata Tigor Engine & Transmission:
Tata Tigor is available in both, petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol variants will be powered by the 1.2-litre Revotron engine; which delivers 85ps power and 114Nm of torque.
The diesel variants get a 1.05-litre Revotorq motor; which produces 70ps and 140Nm. The Tigor comes with two driving modes – Eco & City which is first in the segment. Both these engines are mated to a five-speed manual gear box.
Tata Tigor Special Features:
The Tigor features the new signature honeycomb grille with sporty smoked projector headlamps. The fog lamps get chrome garnish and match well with dual-tone bumper. Tata Motors gives some smart, user-friendly features on Tigor. Among the notables include utility spaces to carry your needs, cooled glove box and collapsible grab handles with coat hook and dual tone theme besides distance to empty and instantaneous fuel consumption.
The car also gets features such as multi drive mode, projector headlamps, split-LED Tail Lamps, dual tone interiors, touchscreen Infotainment system and fully automated climate control. With 419 litres of boot there is ample space to carry luggage.
