Here is the latest spy pic of Tata Kite sedan, the most coveted sub-four meter of Tata Motors, for our followers and automotive enthusiasts:
Till date, the company has kept minute details of the Kite under the wraps. The car is in its final testing phase ahead of its official launch in the upcoming festive season. One of CrankIT’s ardent followers, Rahul, managed to click this spy picture of camouflaged Tata Kite sedan.
Tata Kite sedan Design:
The front and side profile of the car derives its design cues from its sibling, Tata Tiago. Considering looks, Tata Kite appears almost the same as Tiago; from front fender upto the C-pillar. The car has wrap-around, smoked head lamps and wrap-around tail lamps. There is also an LED light strip for brake light which runs across the rear windscreen. Most likely, the car would get similar interiors as that of Tiago.
Tata Kite sedan Engines:
Kite sedan will be offered both in petrol and diesel versions. The petrol variant will be powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, petrol engine with 85 PS of power and 114 Nm of peak torque, while the diesel variant will be offered with an all-new 1.05-litre, three-cylinder, turbo-charged diesel engine with 70 PS of power and 140 Nm of torque. The car is also likely to get multi-drive modes i.e. Eco and City on both the petrol and diesel variants.
However, the actual details of Tata Kite sedan will emerge only after it is finally unveiled. Till then, it is just a matter of speculation. Being a sub-4 meter, the Kite sedan will compete with Maruti Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze, Volkswagen Ameo and Ford Figo Aspire in the sub-4 meter segment.
