All-wheel drive version with some interior tweaks
To add some more thrill to its already popular model Duster, Renault India is going to launch All Wheel Drive Duster in the month of September 2014; for whom the preview campaign has already begun. We spotted one such preview vehicle entitled Duster AWD near Pune.

What’s new?
The major change in Duster AWD is of course the driveline which now features ‘All wheel drive’ mechanism instead of the front wheel drive setup on previous version. In addition, the suspension at rear end is changed to Multilink with coil springs and anti-roll bar.

Available in two different variants viz. RxL & RzL; the new Duster AWD will be powered by 1.5 Litre Diesel engine having Common Rail Diesel Injection. This 4 cylinder engine generates 110Ps of power @ 4000RPM and 245 Nm @ 1750 RPM and is mated to a six speed manual transmission. As claimed by the manufacturer, Duster AWD will deliver a mileage of 19.72 kmpl.
Furthermore, features like Electronic Stability Program, Anti-skid resistance, Cruise control are also offered on Duster AWD. To make the interiors more appealing, Duster AWD comes equipped with a new soft touch dashboard and burnt-red fabric upholstery.

Price:
As per our sources, Duster AWD will cost nearly Rs. 70,000 to 75,000 more than the previous RxZ variant of Duster.
