Regal Raptor Bikes Set To Cruise In India...!!

Giving more options to cruiser lovers in India, Regal Raptor - a US-based motorcycle brand with a manufacturing unit in Shanghai; has launched their range of motorcycles by opening the bookings on 9th June, 2015 in Hyderabad. The motorcycle range includes three cruiser bikes from Regal Raptor – ‘Bobber 350’, ‘Cruiser 350’ and ‘Daytona 350’ for the Indian market.

These motorcycles can be booked with a booking amount of Rs. 50,000/-. Regal Raptor’s Indian partner company FAB Motors plans to bring the Regal Raptor bikes to India as CKD units by importing the kits directly from the parent company in China and assemble them in company’s Hyderabad unit. The Regal Raptor motorcycles are designed by renowned motorcycle designer Johnny Pag - the founder of Johnny Pag Motor Company.

The Regal Raptor Bikes Features:

All three motorcycles are powered by a common 320cc, twin-cylinder, 4-stroke, fuel-injection engine which produces 22.8 BHP at 8500 rpm and 22 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm. The bikes can touch 0 to 60 km/h in 3.5 seconds with the top speed limited to 130 km/h, as claimed by Regal Raptor.

Barring few specs & their body styles, all the three motorcycles are mechanically identical. The most affordable bike of the three is the Cruiser 350 with the price-tag of Rs. 2.96 lakh. While, the Daytona 350 is priced at Rs. 3.22 lakh, the Bobber 350 is priciest at Rs. 3.33 lakh (all priced ex-showroom Hyderabad). All three motorcycles feature a 5-speed manual transmission, a 300mm front disc brake and a 240mm rear disc brake. The Daytona has a bigger 15L fuel tank, whereas both the Bobber and Cruiser have a 14L tank.

FAB Motors India plans to assemble the Raptor motorcycles in India and export them to the near-by markets such as Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, UAE and Oman. The company also plans to open 90 Regal Raptor showrooms across the country during 2015.
