With the heat of the festive season building up in India, auto makers are launching more and more models in Indian market zestfully, swiftly, overwhelmingly…..and one more came rapidly, the Skoda Rapid Facelift. The launch function took place in Delhi on 25th September 2014.

Exterior:
The Rapid facelift features a new front grille, projector headlamps and fog lamps. The redesigned rear view mirrors, side decals, black coloured roof and alloy wheels add to the styling statement of this car.
Engine & Transmission:
One of the major changes that Rapid facelift has witnessed is the 1.5 Litre TDI 4 cylinder inline turbocharged diesel engine. This powerhouse pumps out 77 kW of power @ 4400 rpm and its torque output is 250Nm @ 1500 – 2500 rpm. Also, a seven speed automatic dual clutch Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) is being offered for the first time on Rapid facelift.
Rapid facelift is also available in petrol version with 1.6 Litre MPI petrol engine and seven speed DSG.
Safety:
Keeping ‘passenger safety’ the top priority, Skoda Rapid facelift comes loaded with ample of safety features such as ABS, Dual front airbags, engine immobiliser, fuel supply cut off during accidents and many more.
