Range Rover Evoque Price Slashed

One of the Most Desirable SUVs – the Range Rover Evoque is now Made In India:

Tata Motors’ extended arm the Jaguar Land-Rover aka JLR has begun the local assembly of one of the most desirable SUVs – the Range Rover Evoque at its manufacturing unit in Pune. The Evoque will join three other JLR products, the Freelander-2 SUV, Jaguar XF and XJ sedans; which are being currently assembled by JLR in India. As a result, JLR has slashed the price of the locally made Evoque across India. The Range Rover Evoque base model is now priced at Rs 48.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). JLR India aims to commence the deliveries from 1^st April, 2015.

The Range Rover Evoque 5-door is available in three variants – Pure, Dynamic and Prestige. All the three Range Rover Evoque are five-door diesel models, which are powered by a common 2.2-litre SD4 common-rail diesel engine, pumping out a maximum of 190PS power @ 3,500 rpm and a peak torque of 420Nm @ 2,000 rpm. The Evoque comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission & is capable of giving a decent 12.7 Km/l according to Land rover.
