The Japanese carmaker Nissan has announced a recall of more than a million vehicles worldwide that includes models of some passenger cars, SUVs and vans; to upgrade the software dealing with inflation of passenger airbags. “Because of the software problems, airbags may not inflate in case of accidental events” claims the manufacturer. The recall is expected to commence by mid-April.
