Jaguar India has recently unveiled the latest generation of XF called New Jaguar XF 2016 in India. XF has always been a very popular sedan in luxury-sport segment and the recent model is all set to continue the trend. Let us see what this vehicle has on offer:
New Jaguar XF exteriors:
Firstly, the most prominent feature in the revised exterior of new XF is its signature J style daytime running lamps. The headlamp assembly has also been redesigned and has certainly enhanced the bold look of this vehicle. The bonnet also has a deep bulge which augments the aggressive style of XF. Furthermore, double roundel tail-lamps of New Jaguar XF 2016 are inspired from sports coupe Jaguar F-Type.
Interiors:
In addition to the comfortable seats clad in luxurious upholstery and advanced infotainment systems, New Jaguar XF 2016 is better in terms of interior space. Rear seats of New XF have more knee room (15 mm) and headroom (27 mm) compared to its predecessor.
Powertrain:
In all, two different engines are available on new XF and their specifications are as below:

Later, these engines are mated to an 8 speed automatic gearbox. XF also offers different driving modes viz. Eco, Dynamic and Rain Ice Snow. Each of these modes tunes the engine and gearbox to give optimum performance in specific conditions.
New Jaguar XF 2016 models:
XF 2016 is available in three different variants viz. XF Pure, XF Prestige and XF Portfolio. Out of these three versions, Pure is available only with a Diesel engine while Prestige and Portfolio have options of both the petrol and Diesel engines. Furthermore, all these models vary in terms of the accessories and some interior features.
