Mercedes Benz India- the Indian subsidiary of the German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes Benz, has endorsed the company’s slogan ‘The Best or nothing’ in true sense by outperforming in the Indian auto-market. In spite of the sluggish economy, Mercedes Benz India has managed to achieve record sales in India in the year 2014 by selling 10,201 units thereby achieving a record growth of 13% over the last year. This has been the second consecutive year in which the company succeeded to post a double digit growth.
“We have recorded the highest ever sales in the history of Mercedes-Benz in India till date. This is a strong reaffirmation of the continued preference of our customers for the Three Pointed Star. With the ‘Year of Excellence’ we brought excellence to our customers, who appreciated our efforts and helped us in accomplishing a sustained and profitable growth.” said Mr Eberhard Kern, Managing Director and CEO, Mercedes Benz India on this occasion. While revealing the real success recipe behind this achievement he said that this is the result of the customer oriented efforts targeted to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
In the previous year, i.e. 2014 Mercedes Benz India launched 10 new models in Indian market starting with the ultimate flagship luxury- the S class. The company also inaugurated 14 new outlets across the country making it convenient to get the Three Pointed Star serviced properly. In addition to this, the manufacturer has also stepped into the business of the pre-owned vehicles under the title ‘Mercedes Benz Certified’ for which 12 new outlets have been inaugurated.
