Mercedes Benz GLA 200 – the first compact SUV by Mercedes Benz is going to hit the Indian market on 30th September 2014. GLA 200 will further expand the existing product portfolio of Mercedes Benz in to the segment of luxury compact SUVs which is currently dominated by BMW, Audi, Land Rover and Volvo. It is anticipated that GLA will be powered by 2.0 Litre 4 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and it will feature 7 speed automatic transmission. The price of GLA 200 is expected in the bracket of Rs. 30 to 32 lakhs Ex-showroom.
