Mechanical upgrades as you wanted in KTM RC390:
KTM has improved RC390 mechanically and now it complies with BS-IV emission norms. In order to comply with BS-IV standards, KTM has removed the underbelly exhaust. Instead, now the bike gets standard side slung exhaust system. Addition of the new exhaust system gives an additional 1 Nm of torque and thus new torque figure stands at 36 Nm while the power remains the same i.e 44 Hp.
The updated RC 390 also comes with ride by wire technology as standard. Ride by wire gives a remarkable throttle response without compromising efficiency. The slipper clutch is also a standard feature. The clutch and brake levers are now adjustable as a result the rider can customize its setting in accordance with his/her convenience.
The bigger 320 mm front disc brakes provide stunning ability to stop the bike. They also enhance safety when used along with ABS. In addition, KTM has introduced controlled area network which enhances the communication between on-board devices there by eliminating the use of cables and wires.
