KMIL Launches Kawasaki W800 Street at Rs 7.99 lakh
Kawasaki Motors India Ltd. recently launched 2019 Kawasaki W800 Street in India for Rs 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is Kawasaki’s second retro-styled motorcycle after the Z900RS. However, the W800 Street will come to India via the SKD route. You can book the motorcycle at any of Kawasaki’s India dealers. Kawasaki will assemble the bike at its Chakan unit. Kawasaki India will bring the W800 to India via the Semi-Knocked Down route from Japan. Hence, the price of this motorcycle is a bit high.

2019 Kawasaki W800 Street is a retro-styled motorcycle which gets its inspiration from Kawasaki W1. Later, it became an inspiration for Kawasaki’s high-performance models such as the Z1 & H2. It uses a 773cc, air-cooled, parallel-twin engine that delivers a modest 47PS and 62.9Nm of torque. Also, the 5-speed gearbox comes with an assist-and-slipper clutch technology.

Bookings will end shortly because Kawasaki plans to sell the motorcycle in limited numbers in the first stage. As this bike will be produced in limited numbers, the company will close the bookings after reaching the sales target.
