The iconic British car-maker, Jaguar, recently introduced Jaguar F-Pace in India. The F-Pace is a performance SUV which is available for Rs. 68.40 Lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). It is a perfect combination of luxury, performance and elegance. The design is so dynamic that it thrills you all the time!
Design & Dynamism of Jaguar F-Pace:
The design of this vehicle is inspired from the Jaguar's F-type range. A prominent bulge on the bonnet makes its presence more powerful. The rear haunches also add to the aggressive tone set by the front end. Thus, Jaguar F-pace boldly manifests all the inherited energy, power and purity!
Furthermore, advanced aerodynamics improves overall efficiency there by reducing carbon dioxide emission and fuel consumption without losing agility. The car has an excellent drag coefficient of 0.34. The robust structure improves stability and increases driver confidence while driving at high speeds. In addition, Jaguar has also managed to reduce wind noise. Thus, passenger comfort is improved.
Under the hood of Jaguar F-Pace:
F-Pace has all new diesel engines of 'Ingenium' range. These engines are powerful as well as efficient. Also, they are equipped with start-stop technology and regenerative charging. F-pace comes with a 2-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine which churns out 132 kw of power.
All-aluminium 'Ingenium' engines are almost 20 kg lighter than their predecessors. The engine cooling is also computer controlled and starts only when needed. R-sport version of this car has a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine that produces 221 kW of power and 700 Nm of torque.
Chassis, Transmission and Suspension of Jaguar F-Pace:
The aluminium chassis of F-pace makes it one of the lightest vehicles in its class. Also, it provides better weight distribution. Eight-speed, fully automatic transmission delivers acceleration effortlessly. Paddle shifters are in place in case you need them.
Features of Jaguar F-Pace:
1. The F-Pace comes with adaptive LED headlights which change their brightness according to daylight. This helps in identifying objects easily and reduces driver fatigue.
2. The mood lighting comes with ten different colours. Thus, there is a shade for every mood.
