To compete with the likes of Honda City and Maruti Ciaz, Hyundai Motor India has decided to launch the facelifted version of its popular sedan Verna. The launch of Verna facelift is anticipated on 18th February as per our sources.
Majority of the changes in Verna facelift would be aesthetic in nature and are mainly focused on the vehicle exteriors. The exterior of the new Verna is based on Hyundai’s popular design philosophy i.e. Fluidic Sculpture 2.0. Verna facelift will most likely manifest new headlamps and taillamps. While the new Verna retains most of the outer body profile, the crease lines on the bonnet are endorsed and made more prominent.
From the powerpack point of view, the story remains the same for Verna facelift. The manufacturer is planning to provide all the current options of engines i.e. 1.4 Lit & 1.6 Lit engines both in Petrol and Diesel versions.
We expect the price of Verna facelift to be in the range of Rs. 8 lakhs to Rs. 12 Lakhs (Ex-showroom).
