The Kona electric has powerful electric motor churning out 150 kW max output.  It can go from 0-100km/h in just 7.6 seconds. The maximum range of the SUV is 482 km with the top speed of 167km/h.  The all-electric power-train gives 395Nm of instant torque.  Hence, it’s quick and fun to drive.

Furthermore, you can choose your own driving range by selecting from two battery versions. The 39.2 kWh version gives you 312kms range and 64kWh version gives you 482kms range. The fast charging functionality can charge the battery in 54minutes. The normal charging time is 9 hours and 35 minutes.

Hyundai Kona electric comes with a shift-by-wire technology. So you can change the gears i.e. forward, neutral and reverse on a press of a button. The electric parking brake is also present in the same cluster. The cluster is located conveniently in the central console. So, changing the gears is no more a hassle.
