Honda CB Hornet 160R Special Features:

The changes in the Honda CB Hornet 160R special edition are mainly cosmetic in nature i.e. introduction of two new colours. The bike comes with an all-black theme with matched body-decals in either Striking Green or Mars Orange colours. Also, the same coloured pin-stripes run on its alloy wheels.

Unlike the brushed silver finish on the earlier version, the bike gets black-matte finish on the seat panel and grab rails, side air scoop and exhaust muffler heat shield for enhanced looks.

Honda CB Hornet 160R Engine & Mechanicals:

However, there are no mechanical changes in the special edition of the bike. Like its earlier version, Honda CB Hornet 160R has a BS-IV complaint 162.71 cc air-cooled engine with HET. It produces an output of 15.6 bhp at 8500 rpm and 14.76 Nm at 6500 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The suspension of this bike consists of telescopic forks at front, whereas a mono-shock at rear as standard. Braking duties are carried out by dual discs (front and rear) on the CBS version. However, there is drum brake at rear on the standard version. Furthermore, the sportier cues of Honda CB Hornet 160R include features like the all-digital instrument console, X-shaped LED tail light, wider rear tyre and a muscular tank which yield it a premium look.
