Video Shows Bajaj Qute Steadily Cruising in a Test-Run:
We had reported about Bajaj Qute (formerly known as RE60) – India’s first Quadricycle in our earlier article. Bajaj Auto is seen conducting road tests of the Qute near Wakad – Pune, fueling speculations of its India debut. Team CrankIT managed to shoot an exclusive video of ‘Bajaj Qute’ featuring its test-run in the city. The video has also been uploaded to CrankIT’s official You-Tube channel. As can be seen in video, the Qute was actually carrying ‘Dummies’ (rubber statues) on its rear seat.

Bajaj Qute Performance:
As you could observe in the video; that Qute was cruising and passing steadily on the highway. Qute is powered by a tiny 216cc, single cylinder petrol-engine which can deliver an estimated mileage of 37 km/L and a top speed of 70 Km/h under test conditions, as claimed by Bajaj Auto.
The compactness & tiny turning radius of Qute makes it easier in maneuvering in the traffic. We followed Qute in traffic as it cruised steadily on the highway. As can be clearly seen in the video, the test-mule of Bajaj Qute was spotted carrying some luggage on its roof carrier alongwith the dummies inside. It indicates that Bajaj Auto is conducting some real-life-like testing of the Qute to judge its performance on highways…!
