Ducati XDiavel Premium Cruiser Range Launched in India


Twin bikes of Ducati XDiavel stable all set to cruise in India:

Prices start @ Rs. 15.87 Lakh

Ducati, Italian premium brand of bikes, recently launched the Ducati XDiavel in India. The XDiavel is available for Rs. 15.87 Lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). Additionally, one more variant, XDiavel S, is also available for Rs.18.47 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). In XDiavel, Ducati has merged two different worlds into one! According to Ducati, XDiavel offers cruiser like comfort on long journeys along with the performance like that of a sports bike.

About Ducati XDiavel:

XDiavel has a 1262 cc, L-twin cylinder, liquid cooled engine; which delivers 156 hp of power and 128.9 Nm of torque. In addition, it features Desmodromic Valve Timing which is quite similar to variable valve timing. Its engine has Bosch electronic fuel injection system with Ride-by-Wire technology. While the engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, it uses a belt-drive to transmit the power to rear wheel.



Ducati XDiavel: Equipment

The bike has 'Ducati Power Launch'- a launch control system. With this, the bike can take off quickly. Additionally, the bike also has sophisticated Riding Modes and Power Modes. Bike's advanced features include Ducati Safety Pack which comprises of Bosch cornering ABS and DTC, cruise control and wheelie control. Furthermore, the bike has full-LED headlight, front turn-signals with guide-lights. Bluetooth connectivity and back-lit handlebar switches are also standard.

Ducati XDiavel has Hands-Free ignition similar to Keyless Ignition which secures it. The bike can be started just by keeping the electronic-key in the rider's pocket. To control the bike, it has twin 320mm semi-floating discs at the front and a single 265mm disc at the rear.

The XDiavel features tubular steel Trellis frame and aluminium single-sided swing arm. Besides, the bike has adjustable suspension for both the front and rear wheels. It consists of 50 mm USD forks on front whereas a single shock-absorber is fitted on rear. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 18 litres. It runs on the light alloy cast 17” wheels on both front and rear.

XDiavel aims to pose a bigger challenge to more popular and premium brands in the market. It will take on the Harley Davidson Street Bob & Indian Scout in the premium cruisers segment.
