Street Bike Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 comes to India:
The Indian arm of the Italian premium brand of bikes, Ducati India, recently launched the Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 in India. The Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 is the latest street bike from Ducati which features an all-new paint theme. Thus, the Ducati Scrambler line-up now has six variants to choose from along with the latest Mach 2.0 in India.

The new Scrambler gets its inspiration from the West Coast style of the 1970s. The Mach 2.0 is now on sale throughout India and has a price tag of Rs. 8.52 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 Design:
The Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 derives its name from the iconic Ducati Mach 1-250 of 1965. The Mach 2.0 gets graphical updates over the standard Scrambler. This includes a special paint theme created by Californian designer Roland Sands. Its colors symbolize the West Coast style of the 1970s. The bike also gets styling updates over the standard version, which gives the Mach 2.0 a different look. However, the new Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 has same mechanical components as the other Scrambler trims. So, it remains mechanically unchanged from its other siblings.

Ducati India, Managing Director, Sergi Canovas Garriga said, “The Ducati Scramblers are the perfect starting point for motorcyclists. It is a contemporary bike that gives the rider pure riding pleasure with the practicality of a modern bike. The Scrambler Mach 2.0 is a very special motorcycle that is a result of our collaboration with Roland and will provide a unique flavor to Scrambler buyers.”
Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 Features:
The new Ducati Scrambler 2.0 features cross-section aluminium handlebars and a Flat Track Pro seat. Additionally, it gets black cylinder head covers and exhaust. Besides, it also gets cafe racer style brushed cooling fins. Furthermore, the Scrambler Mach 2.0 gets its name from the iconic Ducati Mach 1 – 250 of 1965. Back then, the Mach 1 motorcycle had a 250 cc, single-cylinder engine. It used the same engine of that of the Scrambler 250. The Mach 1 had a top speed of over 160 km/h which became the fastest quarter-liter of its time.

Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 Engine & Power:
Furthermore, the 2017 Scrambler Mach 2.0 gets its power from the 803 cc, twin-cylinder, Euro-IV compliant engine. The engine produces 72 bhp of power at 8250 rpm whereas 67 Nm of peak torque at 5750 rpm. The bike is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. A 300mm disc at the front whereas a 245mm disc at the rear carry out the braking duties. Besides, the ABS is standard on both wheels to control this bike.
The Scrambler Mach 2.0 is now on sale across all the 7 dealerships in India. They are situated in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Kochi. So, Ducati now offers the Scrambler in six versions which include Scrambler Icon, Scrambler Desert Sled, Scrambler Classic, Scrambler Full Throttle and Scrambler Cafe Racer.
