Ducati brings another sports bike Panigale V2 to India

Italian superbike maker Ducati recently launched Ducati Panigale V2, in India. The sports bike commands a price-tag of Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The new motorcycle has the underpinnings of the outgoing 959 Panigale. Ducati plans to bring the motorcycle through the CBU route from its manufacturing unit in Thailand. The manufacturer had already started the pre-bookings of this motorcycle at a booking price of Rs 1.0L.

Engine & Power

The 2020 Panigale V2 comes with a 955cc, twin-cylinder, Superquadro BS-VI engine. The V2 features new larger injectors. It has a different operating angle and a more efficient snorkel, which reduces pressure loss. So, the engine now delivers 5HP more power and 2Nm more torque. Besides, the V2 also gets a new compact exhaust. It goes under the engine and gives the bike a clean look.

Features:

Ducati Panigale V2 has the underpinnings of its sibling, the Panigale V4. They include a tall windscreen, muscular fuel tank, and two large air intakes. Double layer fairing, step-up style split seat, and signature 5-spoke alloy wheels are also on the list. The bike features a twin LED headlamp setup with LED DRLs. The Panigale V2 features a single-sided aluminum swingarm. The bike’s fairing is molded around its monocoque frame. Hence, the focus of the attention goes to its compact engine. This makes the bike look slimmer and less dominating than the Panigale V4.

Furthermore, Ducati Panigale V2 has an all-new 4.3″ color TFT display. It offers three Riding Modes (Race, Sport, and Street). The rider can access it through the handlebar’s switchgear. The new seat offers greater comfort for the rider with new 5mm raised foam. It also allows for more longitudinal movement. However, the position of the footpegs is the same.

Safety:

Ducati Panigale V2 assures active safety and dynamic control standards for the rider. The motorcycle hardware includes Cornering ABS EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO 2. It also includes Ducati Quick Shift EVO 2, Ducati Wheelie Control EVO, Engine Braking Control EVO. The motorcycle has an extremely compact front headlight assembly.

Color options:

Ducati Panigale V2 is available in the traditional Ducati Red color paint theme. However, the manufacturer offers a whole range of clothing and accessories to provide a unique ownership experience. Besides, bookings are open across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
