Ducati launches Multistrada’s latest Pikes Peak version in India
Italian premium brand of bikes – Ducati has recently launched its Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak bike in India. The bike is priced at Rs. 20.06 Lakh (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Pikes Peak is the special edition of Multistrada. It is inspired by Ducati’s success in Pikes Peak International Hill Climb challenge, one of the most famous hill-climb races in the world.

As claimed by Ravi Avalur, Ducati India MD, the Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak is a motorcycle in which touring capability meets performance. With race inspired looks and cutting edge technology, the Pikes Peak will be appreciated by the enthusiasts.
The Multistrada Pikes Peak is powered by Ducati’s 1200cc, L-twin cylinder, 4-valves / cylinder, liquid cooled engine producing 117.7 kW power and 136 Nm of torque. The engine also features Bosch electronic fuel injection system and elliptical throttle bodies. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox to transmit power to the rear wheel.
Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak: Equipment
The bike is equipped with advanced features such as ride-by-wire. It has four riding modes – Urban, Touring, Sport and Enduro. The bike features Ducati full LED headlamp with cornering lights, wheelie control, traction control and cruise control. The Pikes Peak edition also comes with a Full-TFT touch-screen and Bloothooth which enables the rider to connect a smartphone to the bike.
Ducati Multistrada 1200 Pikes Peak is secured with Hands free ignition. With this, the bike can be started by an electronic-key kept in the rider’s pocket. It also features Ducati signature Trellis frame with aluminium single-sided swing arm. Front suspension uses Öhlins 48 mm fully adjustable USD forks. The rear suspension is a fully adjustable Öhlins TTX36 unit. Braking duty is done by the twin 330mm semi-floating discs with Brembo monobloc 4-piston callipers at the front and a 265mm single disc at rear. They are supported by Ducati Safety Pack with cornering ABS.
