About ‘Kite’:
India’s most reputed brand Tata Motors is looking to conquer the voluminous compact hatchback segment with its upcoming car the Tata Kite. Tata Motors is already conducting road tests of its latest hatch the Kite in and around Pune City, where it is currently being developed. Targeting the lucrative compact hatchback segment; Tata Motors will launch Kite to take on the likes of Maruti Celerio, Chevrolet Beat, Datsun Go and Hyundai Grand i10.
Design:
The Tata Kite spy pics reveal its all-new exteriors & interiors. Tata Kite has a typical ‘tall-boy’ design. From the front, Tata Kite spy pics clearly divulge the ‘smiling’ Tata signature honeycomb grille and two heavy crease lines on the bonnet, which will give it the muscular look.

Uniqueness:
There is also a noticeable hump in the middle of the roof, which may have been placed to give the Tata Kite some characteristic looks. From the side, you can see the camouflaged ‘B’ pillar, the windows without quarter-glass and some crease lines on the doors. The Kite test-mule also has the diamond-cut 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Features:
The cabin of the Tata Kite is seen draped in black and / or black-gray colour theme. The spotted Tata Kite mule features the Tata signature three-spoke steering wheel with audio controls, possibly borrowed from Tata Bolt. Inside the cabin, it can also be observed the unique trapezoidal shaped air-conditioner vents & an infotainment system. Also, the Tata Kite spy pics snapped here reveal a 5-speed manual transmission with ‘H’-shaped gear lever similar to Tata Bolt.

Styling:
On the rear of Tata Kite spy pics, you could see that the car features horizontally wrapped-around tail lamps unlike the flame-shaped ones on Tata Bolt. The Kite also gets the rear spoiler and the rear windshield wiper as well; which was not seen before. It indicates that the test-mule could possibly be ‘production-ready’.

Tata Kite is expected to be launched during the coming festive season of 2015 in the price-range from Rs. 3.5 lakh to Rs. 5.0 lakh.
