Kawasaki Launches BS6 Kawasaki NINJA 650 in India
Sports bike BS6 Kawasaki NINJA 650 launched at a price of Rs 6.24 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Let’s look at what it offers for that price!

Features:
Kawasaki India recently launched the 2020 Kawasaki NINJA 650 in the Indian market. The BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 gets design inspiration from it siblings the Kawasaki Ninja 400 and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R. It exhibits a new styled theme and features a twin-LED headlamp unit that offers better lighting. The motorcycle gets an improved and extended windshield which sits evenly on the upper cowl. Thus, it will provide better wind protection to the rider. Overall, the new BS6 Ninja 650 displays more aggressive and much sportier stance than the outgoing model.
Furthermore, the new BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 also gets a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster which is a first in the 650cc class. The fully-digital system shows a number of information. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity thru’ which riders can connect their smartphones thru’ Kawasaki’s Rideologo mobile app.
Engine & Powertrain:
BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 650 gets a redesigned 649cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine. Kawasaki implemented several changes to the motorcycle’s intake and exhaust system components. This makes the motorcycle comply with the more stringent emission norms without compromising on the power output. So, this engine produces the same amount of power post the BS6 upgrade – 68 PS at 8,000 rpm and torque output is 64 Nm at 6,700 rpm. The Ninja 650 gets a 6-speed transmission.

Wheels & Tyres:
The new Ninja 650 runs on Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport-2 tires. These tires provide better grip and improve the bike’s handling characteristics. The front tyre is of 120/70 ZR17M/C (58W) size whereas the rear tyre is of 160/60 ZR17M/C (69W) size.
Colors:
The sports bike is available in two colour options – Lime Green Ebony and Pearl Flat Stardust White.
