BMW M2 Competition:
BMW recently launched the BMW M2 Competition in India. The BMW M-series stands for the ‘MotorSport’ in BMW’s nomenclature. The Competition’s prices start from Rs 79.90 lakh (ex-showroom) without options. The company will bring the M2 Competition as a Completely Built-Up Unit (CBU) to India.
BMW M2 Competition Engine & Power:
BMW M2 Competition is the newest M-series car in India. The sports coupe gets its power from an inline 6, 3-litre, twin-turbocharged engine. This engine delivers a massive power output of 410 hp while the torque of 550 Nm. The car transmits the power thru’ a dual-clutch 7-speed transmission. The M2 Competition is a rear-wheel-drive vehicle. The car can sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2-seconds. It has a top speed of 250 km/h.
The exhaust system comes with electrically controlled flaps. Positioned just before the rear silencer, they minimize the exhaust back-pressure. This improves efficiency and creates a unique exhaust note.
BMW M2 Competition Features:
The new BMW M2 Competition is feature-packed. This includes the adjustable sports exhaust as standard. The optional extras include the M2 Sports Seats, premium infotainment system and Apple CarPlay. It has a shorter wheelbase, 50-50 weight distribution, and rear-wheel-drive (RWD) arrangement. Also, there is an Active M Differential on the rear axle and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). Besides, the car gets three driving modes (Comfort, Sport, and Sport+). Thus, the car offers great driving dynamics.
BMW M2 Competition Design:
The M2 Competition has large air inlets and high-gloss signature kidney grill with M2 badge at the front. Besides, the High-Gloss Shadow Lines give a sporty look to the car. It is the smallest and also the most affordable M-series car in the world. Currently, this car has virtually no competition in India in this segment. The closest rival is the Ford Mustang that offers similar power.
BMW M2 Competition Features:
Furthermore, the BMW M2 Competition gets top-end features such as the iDrive controller, Radio BMW Professional, 7 loudspeakers with 205 Watts Hi-Fi loudspeaker system, a 16.5 cms color display with AM/FM Radio, Park Distance Control (PDC) rear and front along with a rearview camera and many more. Additionally, the car also gets the following safety equipment.

The M2 Competition is available in six exciting colors which are Alpine White, Black Sapphire, Long Beach Blue, Sunset Orange, and Hockenheim Silver.
