BMW F900 Adventure launched in India at Rs. 9.90 lakh:
German brand BMW’s two-wheeler branch BMW Motorrad has recently launched the all-new BMW F900R and F900 XR. BMW has managed to perfectly blend luxury with sports motorcycle in the F900 series in India with the launch of these new bikes. These motorcycles will come at a starting price of Rs 9.9 lakh (Ex-showroom) and will go up to Rs 11.5 lakh (Ex-showroom).

Furthermore, BMW will bring the two motorcycles to India as completely built-up units (CBU) throughout the entire BMW Motorrad dealership network, BMW said in a statement. The BMW F900R is priced at Rs 9.9 lakh, BMW F900 XR Standard at Rs 10.5 lakh, and BMW F900 XR Pro is tagged at Rs 11.5 lakh. With these motorcycles, BMW wants to strengthen its grip in the middleweight segment. Besides, it is an affordable motorcycle compared to its siblings BMW S 1000 R and S 1000 XR.

Furthermore, BMW F900R is an accurate and intuitive sports bike that offers classic riding fun at all times. However, BMW F 900 XR’s adventure sports tourer unique performance combined with a powerful design that is perfect for long-distance riding in a distinctive and future-oriented style according to BMW Motorrad. “The sporty riding fun, straightforward handling, and a unique range of equipment options on both these bikes will be a value-added package for the ultimate thrill-seekers,” Teixeira said.
Engine & Power:
Furthermore, both the motorcycles feature an 895cc parallel-twin engine, which has with 86 mm bore. It has the same 77 mm stroke and is borrowed from the 853cc motor which provides power on the F750 GS and F850 GS. This engine delivers the power of 105 bhp at 8,500 rpm and torque of 92 Nm at 8,500 rpm. Besides, this motor also comes with two balancer shafts to reduce the vibrations and also to carry more weight. It takes just 7 seconds for the BMW F900R to sprint from 0 to 100 mph. On the other hand, the XR takes 3.6 seconds to reach the same speed.
