The 2016 Benelli TNT 600i Gets ABS:
European bike-maker – Benelli of Italy had tied up with India’s DSK Motowheels in India recently. DSK-Benelli has now officially launched the TNT 600i with switchable ABS version – the Benelli TNT 600i ABS. The bike is priced at Rs. 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The non-ABS version of TNT 600i that is currently sold, will be gradually phased out by DSK-Benelli and will be replaced with the ABS version. The TNT 600i ABS costs Rs. 40,000 more as compared to the previous version.
Benelli TNT 600i ABS Engine & Features:
The TNT 600i ABS is a naked street-fighter and the most affordable four-cylinder motorcycle in the India. The TNT 600i ABS is powered by a 600cc, liquid cooled, 8 valves, DOHC, In-line 4-cylinder engine. It is tuned to produce 62.57 KW of power and 54.6 Nm of torque and mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The braking duties are done by the 320mm twin discs at the front and a 260mm single disc at the rear, which is now controlled by the switchable ABS.
TNT 600i ABS 2016 has no change compared to its predecessor in appearance. It is built on a semi-Trellis tubular steel frame and a cast aluminium chassis. The front suspension consists of inverted telescopic forks, while the rear has the monoshock suspension. The acceptance of bookings for the TNT 600i ABS has already begun at the Benelli dealerships.
