Q4 Sportback e-tron concept: The future is now.
Audi, the German luxury carmaker, recently unveiled the new concept car Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron concept. The car is more dynamic, elegant and sporty. The new concept car shows its direct connection with other legendary designs by Audi.
Furthermore, few designs feature resembles original Quattro from 1980. The paint colour varies according to the angle at which sun rays hit the car. It can vary from pearl grey to metallic green. So, the variation in colour is a distinctive feature along with its large 22′ tyres.
The Interiors
The Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron concept showcases all-new interiors. The large legroom offers more passenger comfort. The large wheelbase with no transmission tunnel creates more interior space.
Furthermore, the bright warm colours of the interiors are inviting and appealing. The Alcantara leather adds to the elegance. In addition, the interiors are entirely done by using sustainable materials. The use of recyclable materials for floor mats clearly highlights sustainability.
Intelligent driving experience
The new interiors also include Audi’s virtual cockpit. The virtual cockpit shows the most important information such as battery charge level, navigation and speed. The all-new Head-up display shows graphical information that blends directly with the road, thanks to augmented reality. We can control the infotainment system by touch-functions on the centre console and steering wheel.
Exteriors
The exteriors of the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron concept are aerodynamically efficient. First of all, electric cars offer more flexibility while designing exteriors. The less cooling requirement of electric cars helps to create an entirely different front design.
In addition, the light colour grill along with black mask creates a striking contrast. The black mask also conceals lighting and sensor elements. While designing diffusor, designers intelligently used space created by the exhaust.
Furthermore, the new concept is the mix of SUV and Coupe. So, you get the best of both worlds. The coupe cabin showcases sportiness while space corresponds to typical SUV.
The low angle windshield along with the steep slope of the roof increases aerodynamics. As a result, the efficiency achieves all-new levels in terms of range and capability.
The performance
The Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron concept has two powerful electric motors. These motors produce 225 kilowatts of power. This concept car also features proprietary Quattro all-wheel drive.
Furthermore, the concept car can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds. It also achieves the same performance irrespective of the weather and surface conditions. In one charge it can go up to 450 kilometres. Some models with rear-wheel drive can go up to 500 kilometres on one charge. It’s actually a new benchmark in its class.
In conclusion, the Audi Q4 Sportback e-tron concept is the best of both worlds. It gives the comfort of a coupe and space of the SUV.
