The exterior of the new bike has no change. The earlier Versys 1000 had Pearl Stardust While color scheme. However, the 2020 version offers a new Candy Lime Green color. However, aesthetically, the bike remains unchanged.

Engine & Power

Furthermore, the 2020 Kawasaki Versys 1000 gets power from the same 1043cc, inline four-cylinder engine. This engine delivers power and torque outputs of 118hp and 102Nm respectively. The motorcycle has a six-speed gearbox. Also, the bike gets a slipper clutch which reduces the effects of engine braking during aggressive downshifts.

Furthermore, the 2020 Kawasaki Versys 1000 has an upright riding position that suits the long-distance riding. While the Versys 1000 is built for off-road use, Kawasaki claims that it also offers good performance while cornering. Kawasaki Versys 1000 will take on the Honda Africa Twin, Triumph Tiger 800 XR, BMW 750 GS and the Ducati Multistrada 950.
