TVS Motors launches new feature on Apache 310RR.
TVS recently launched 2019 TVS Apache RR310 with Race Tuned (RT) slipper clutch in India. The sports bike now costs Rs 25,000/- more than when TVS launched it first in 2017 and comes at a price-tag of ₹ 2.27 lakh (ex-showroom). This feature comes from the racing heritage of TVS Racing which improves the customer’s riding experience. It offers low hand fatigue thru rapid gear shifting and maintains motorcycle stability during downshifts at high speed, particularly in bends. The motorcycle also gets minor styling update that includes a new Phantom Black color. The sharp edges and angular design of the bike match the new color.
2019 TVS Apache RR310 Features:
The TVS Apache RR310 RT Slipper Clutch is a powerful and very beneficial feature which supports city, highway, and track riding as well. The Race Tuned Slipper Clutch will be available as a TVS Racing accessory, which current owners can retrofit to their bikes. However, TVS shall make this facility is available only at select franchises across the country for a nominal price.
Engine & Power:
The power in 2019 TVS Apache RR310 comes from a 312 cc single-cylinder Double Over Head Cam (DOHC) liquid-cooled engine with additional oil cooling technology. It delivers 34 Ps and 27.3 Nm of peak torque at 7700 rpm and mates with a 6-Speed Gear Box. Besides, the motorcycle features Michelin Street Sport tires, Bi-LED Twin Projector headlamps, and race-inspired vertical speedo-cum-tachometer. The motorcycle also gets upgrades that improve ride feel, driveability, and reliability. The 2019 variant will be available in two colours which are Phantom Black & Racing Red.
