2019 Kawasaki Versys 650 Priced At Rs 6.69 lakh:
Kawasaki India recently launched 2019 Kawasaki Versys 650 adventure tourer in India. The motorcycle is available in Indian market for a starting price of Rs 6.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2019 Versys has a similar price of that of the earlier version.
However, the appearance of the new bike does not have many changes. The earlier version of the Versys had a metallic black colour theme. However, the 2019 version gets a new metallic grey paint on the fuel tank. It also features the Kawasaki green accents on the rims, tank extensions, and the rear cowl. Thus, it challenges the price tag of its rival, the newly launched Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT for Rs 7.46 lakh (ex-showroom).
2019 Kawasaki Versys 650 Engine & Power:
With regards to the powertrain, the 2019 Kawasaki Versys 650 gets power from the same 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. This engine delivers 68hp at 8500 rpm and 64Nm of torque at 7000 rpm. The bike has a six-speed gearbox.
Furthermore, the 2019 Kawasaki Versys 650 offers an upright riding position that suits the long-distance riding. While the Versys 650 is built for off-road use, Kawasaki claims that its sporty chassis also offers good performance while cornering. 2019 Kawasaki Versys 650 will take on the newly launched SWM Superdual T which commands a price-tag of Rs 6.8 lakh (ex-showroom). SWM Superdual 650 gets power from a 650 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that puts out 54bhp and 53.5Nm of torque. It comes with Brembo brakes at both ends, along with switchable ABS.
