2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 launched in India. Let’s see what this bike offers!
Kawasaki India recently launched the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 in the Indian market. The sports motorcycle gets aesthetically restyled decals. However, there is no change in the mechanicals of the 2019 model. The bike comes in two color choices – the black and the black/green. The Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is Kawasaki’s one of the highly successful liter-class sports bikes.
Kawasaki brought the Ninja 1000 to India via the SKD (Semi Knocked Down) route. So, that is one of the reasons for its higher price-tag. Kawasaki launched this bike alongside its world launch. The Ninja 1000 takes on the likes of Honda CBR 1000RRin the liter-capacity sports bike segment.
2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 Engine & Power:
The 2019 Ninja 1000 only gets a minor graphical update in the form of new-design decals on its body. Apart from that, the motorcycle has exactly the same looks and offers the same performance as the older version. The power comes from the 1043cc inline-four cylinder engine that delivers 141bhp at 10000rpm and peak torque of 111Nm at 7300rpm. The bike comes with a six-speed gearbox to send the drive to the rear wheel.
Furthermore, the 2019 Ninja 1000 is known for its latest gadgets which include the 3-level traction control system, and the ABS. Kawasaki also employed the Kawasaki Cornering Management System on the Ninja 1000. Besides, the bike also features the dual LED headlights, slipper clutch, and fully digital instrument cluster.
Just like the older model, the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 is available in two colors – fully black and black-green. The bookings for this Semi Knocked Down bike is already open at all the dealerships in India.
