2018 Kawasaki Z900 RS: The Returns of Classics, Relive The Past…!
It seems the retro-classic days of the 70s are back again. Kawasaki recently launched its retro-classic 2018 Kawasaki Z900 RS in India. Kawasaki brought the Z900 RS to India via the CBU (Completely Built Up) route. That is the main reason the bike has such a high price-tag. The bike comes in two color options.

About the Z900 RS:
In India, the Z900 RS is available at a price of Rs 15.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Furthermore, 2018 model gets its inspiration from the Kawasaki's Z1 which was popular in the 70s. The motorcycle comes to India via the CBU (Completely Built Up) route that pushes its price higher.
By launching the retro-classic themed Z900 RS motorcycle, Kawasaki surprised the Indian auto industry. This is because it did not even showcase the motorcycle at the 2018 Auto Expo. The company launched the motorcycle in India in two colors which are candy-tone orange and candy-tone brown. The Kawasaki Z900 RS gets its power from a 948cc, in-line four-cylinder engine coupled to a six-speed gearbox.

Kawasaki Z900 RS Engine and Power:
The engine churns out a decent 110 hp and 98.5 Nm of the power and torque output respectively. The dual 300mm disc brakes at the front take care of the braking duties of the Z900 RS. The bike has a single 250mm disc brake at the rear. The Z900 RS also offers the ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) on this motorcycle for added safety and control. Besides, the new Kawasaki Z900 RS features a full LED headlamp, traction control system and much more.
Kawasaki Z900 RS Features:
Kawasaki used a trellis frame on the 2018 Kawasaki Z900 RS as it offers an upright riding position to the rider. The suspension system of the new Kawasaki Z900 RS consists of 41mm inverted forks at the front while a mono-shock with adjustable rebound and preload at the rear.
